About The Position

Kellington Protection is seeking reliable and professional Screening Officers to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and facilities. Screening Officers are responsible for operating security screening equipment, conducting bag checks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate walk-through metal detectors and hand-held scanners to screen individuals entering Trust facilities.
• Conduct thorough bag checks and inspections of personal belongings.
• Maintain a visible and vigilant presence to deter potential security threats.
• Provide information and assistance to guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow established security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or violations of Trust policies.
