About The Position

As an Account Executive - Advanced Security Services at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in promoting our Advanced and Integrated Security Services. This position involves building strong partnerships with both established and new accounts across various sectors, focusing on selling cutting-edge integrated security solutions. You will engage with sophisticated products such as integrated video surveillance and access control systems, which are essential for ensuring community safety. Your role will require a deep understanding of IP security offerings and the complexities of IT networks and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Must live in the surrounding area (Atlantic City, Pennsauken, Hainesport NJ OR Horsham PA).
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of successful direct sales experience in selling large, advanced security systems, IT, and technology sectors.
  • Minimum of 3 years focusing on major accounts.
  • Experience in the Security Integration Industry is a must.
  • Proven track record with central control systems and monitoring devices such as CCTV, Perimeter and Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales figures between $1-3 million in integrated security business.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage senior-level executives.
  • Strong intrinsic motivation and business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Advanced and Integrated Security Services.
  • Forge strong partnerships with established and new accounts.
  • Sell integrated security solutions requiring deep understanding of IP security and IT networks.
  • Engage with products like integrated video surveillance and access control systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, leaders, and internal partners from Operations and Engineering.
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic goals.
  • Deepen account relationships by connecting with various departments within customer organizations.
  • Develop sales leads, solicit clients, nurture referrals, and network within local associations.
  • Build and maintain connections with security consultants and A&E firms.
  • Conduct physical surveys of clients' facilities to identify security needs.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Stay informed about products and services related to customer needs through continuous training.
