About The Position

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in security or public safety.
  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within 2 years of appointment.
  • Stop the Bleed Certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card or Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license.
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (e.g. TASER) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Liaisons with law enforcement and first responder agencies.
  • Maintains current training standards in various safety protocols.
  • Assists with traffic and crowd control.
