As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol, Clearance Required in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control points, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors, following site rules for entry, badging, and escorts.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a clear and timely manner in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
