About The Position

The Security Representative is responsible for the screening of all patients, visitors, contractors, vendors, employees, and all other persons arriving to VHC-owned or leased facilities for security and/or health & safety reasons. This role controls access to the facility or area to which they are assigned using established security or infection prevention protocols and policies. The representative uses screening equipment, including visitor check-in kiosks, computers, cameras, and other related equipment, such as weapons detection systems or health screening systems. Maintaining positive public relations by providing excellent customer service to those entering and exiting the facility is a key aspect of this position. Additionally, the Security Representative provides support to the Security and/or Parking Departments when required, such as directing vehicle traffic and enforcing parking policies in and around facility entrances and within fire lanes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.
• One year of Customer Service experience is required.
• Self-confidence to restrict or deny access to unapproved individuals.
• Ability to escalate and communicate issues and concerns to facility.

• $20.00 per hour base rate.
