About The Position

Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking a Security Representative Sr / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to join the security team in Orlando, FL. As the CPSO your responsibilities will include but are not limited to creating algorithm implementation requirements and developing system models, effectively communicating advanced research concepts to customers, stakeholders, and developers. Manage security requirements for a complex, large scale and fast-moving Weapon Program. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, technical, policy guidance research, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoDM 5200.01, ICD 705, DoDM 5105.21 as well as OPSEC and related SOPs IAW with program DD 254(s). Responsible for high level program leadership briefings, presentations, completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)and DoD 5205.07 Volumes 1-4.
  • Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance with an investigation within the past 5 years to be considered
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JADE, SIMS, DISS, and Special Access Programs (SAP) security compliance.
  • Experience working DoD Special Programs as a CSSO, ACSSO or physical security specialist.
  • Ability to work independently when required and be a team player.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
