About The Position

You will be a Security Representative / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) for Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business. What You Will Be Doing Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking an Industrial Security professional / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join the security team in Orlando, FL. The candidate will perform program security duties supporting a large program. As the Security Representative / Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) your responsibilities will include: All aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, technical, policy guidance research, and classification management utilizing the requirements set forth in the DoD 5205 Series, National Industrial Security Program, Operating Manual (NIPSOM), the NISPOM Overprint, ICD 705, and others as applicable Program briefings, presentations, completing Program Access Requests (PAR), classified meeting support, program management support, and security education. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
  • This position requires applicants to have an active Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last five years
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.
  • Special Access Program (SAP) / Industrial Security experience.
  • Basic computer skills, public speaking, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DISS, SIMS, and personnel security clearances.
  • Understanding and knowledge of DoD policies.
  • Experience in Building and Maintaining tracking spreadsheets/databases.
  • Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security clearances, JADE, SIMS, DISS, Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility security compliance.
  • Understanding and knowledge of DoD policies.
  • Ability to work independently when required and be a team player.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
