About The Position

This position is for a (E4524) Security Rep Stf within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero) in Palmdale, CA. This position will report to Jennifer Lewis, Government Security Operations. Req is a replacement requisition for Nolan Riggs. Individual will serve as a Security Rep Staff supporting the DoD Collateral portfolio at Plant 10 and Site 2 to include supporting U-2, ARRW, 727 and JASSM programs. Candidate will require comprehensive understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) security methodologies, policies, procedures such as 32 CFR Part 117. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, supporting DoD Collateral Portfolio, classification management, program briefings, program management support, classified shipments, courier procedures, and Compliance Inspection support. This role requires the ability to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and Lockheed Martin stakeholders. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and effectively make independent decisions and work in an environment with limited supervision. Provides security education, investigates security violations and/or infractions, and prepares written reports specifying the outcome of the incident and preventive action to be taken. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last five years
  • Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and/or ICD 705 regulations
  • Ability to multi-task with great interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently when required and be a team player
  • Extensive experience collaborating with internal and external customers/stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SESIDS, DISS, and NISS
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
