This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Security Project Manager. The role is remote and requires a candidate with over 3 years of related experience in a project management capacity. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for determining project scope, requirements, and deliverables for IT projects in collaboration with clients or customers. They will define, develop, modify, or provide input to project plans and implement these plans to meet objectives. The position involves conducting collaboration meetings and creating supporting decks to advise Cybersecurity and IT leadership on significant risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to support Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Roadmap Implementation activities. Additionally, the role includes providing ZTA-specific project management support in planning, cost schedules, and performance. The candidate will also evaluate, recommend, and implement commercial hardware and software security products to enhance the enterprise cybersecurity program. Monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risks, maintain quality assurance processes, and solve problems or take corrective action when necessary are also key responsibilities.

  • Determine project scope, requirements, and deliverables for IT projects with clients or customers.

  • 3 plus years of related experience in a project management capacity.
  • B.S. in Computer Science (CS), Management of Information Systems (MIS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Cybersecurity from an accredited University.
  • ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • ISC2 Certified – Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC)
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
