Credence has an immediate opening for an experienced Security Program Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Civilian Institution Programs (AFIT/CI) at WPAFB, OH. AFIT/CI is the Air Force’s professional arm managing and providing administrative control and funding support to Air Force and Space Force officers, enlisted, and civilians selected to complete advanced academic and professional degrees, fellowships with industry partners, and medical professional residencies in sister services, federal agencies, and non-federal educational programs located in the United States and abroad. Additionally, AFIT/CI funds the Air Force Medical Command (AFMED) Health Professions Loan Repayment Program. Each year, the Civilian Institution Programs Directorate supports over 2,500 active duty and reserve officers enrolled in educational programs nationwide and overseas and evaluates and processes loan repayments for over 45 participants in the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program. The Directorate's advanced academic degrees, fellowships, and medical professional residencies range in length anywhere from ten months to seven years and are conducted in primarily traditional face-to-face, brick and mortar campus classroom and business industry settings.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Two years of experience in Security analysis and program management
  • Experience with APACS, Foreign Clearance Guide, DISS, DoS Smart Traveler Enrollment System, and ISOPREP required.
  • Attention-to-detail and ability to elevate trends/identify process improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to AFIT/CI in advising and organizing security protocols and procedures to include, but not limited to, tracking security plans, personnel compliance with security protocols, incident response and reporting, records maintenance, annual and incident-based evaluations, and annual security audit verification.
  • Assist with security audits to ensure security program and policy requirements have been met, and that the personnel terms for security and benefits have been satisfied.
  • Manage, and update required security information systems and making recommendations for modifications in the Security Management System.
  • Provide support for personnel during various phases of security protocol implementation, from training to audits. This includes, but is not limited to, answering questions, directing personnel to the correct office/agency who can assist with security training and travel, assisting AFIT security staff, maintaining and updating checklists, and reviewing pending security protocol lists against security management system to ensure all eligible requirements have been met, as needed.
  • Assist in managing security incidents and crises, including providing support for incident response planning and execution, and coordinating communication and reporting during incidents and crises.
  • Assist in coordinating security training events, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and providing support for training materials and logistics.
  • Provide support for security incident management, including tracking incidents, coordinating incident response, and providing support for incident reporting and documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating security policies and procedures, including reviewing and revising security protocols as needed.
  • Provide support for security compliance, including tracking compliance with security regulations and policies, and providing support for security audits and inspections.
  • Assist in coordinating with AFIT security personnel, including scheduling, tracking personnel assignments, and providing support for personnel training and development.
  • Provide support for security communication and coordination, including facilitating communication between security staff, program staff, and other stakeholders, and providing support for security meetings and briefings.
  • Provide support for security risk management, including identifying and assessing security risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and providing support for risk management planning and implementation.
  • Provide a wide range of other security related administrative support services to the Security staff in support of programs managed by the Security Division to include, but not limited to:
  • Providing administrative support with various security databases.
  • Assisting with security reports and presentation formatting (i.e., Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, or other formats).
