As a Security Professional - Utilities Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment. Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
- Document and report all incidents, accidents, and/or emergencies according to site procedures.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
