About The Position

As a Security Professional - Utilities Site Patrol - Driver in Rockport, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout utility locations. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or on foot. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for unusual conditions or activities and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while on patrol.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or occurrences as required by site procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills as directed.
