As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling using a company or client vehicle. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity throughout the utilities location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while upholding site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert and attentive during patrols to help to deter potential risks to property and personnel.
