As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail locations. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as part of your daily patrol duties.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe for irregular or unusual activity and report findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information and directions as needed within the retail environment.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site policies.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as directed.
