About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrols - Driving Post in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage facility, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you remain approachable and ready to assist employees, visitors, and contractors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for navigating the site as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal’s values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders as necessary.
  • Remain alert to any potential hazards or suspicious activities within the location and escalate concerns as appropriate.
