About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises as you support a secure environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the facility.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related issues and support site operations.
