Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned business area and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Document all incidents and security-related activities using company protocols and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal staff and client personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
