About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location, including technology and media environments.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific instructions during patrols and incident response.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
