As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with both team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or property damage within the automotive facility.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Follow all company procedures and protocols while maintaining a professional presence at the automotive location.
