About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Conley, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using good judgment to support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues within the food and beverage environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to supervisors and/or local authorities as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance as needed to employees and visitors.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Interact professionally with all individuals on-site, including employees, visitors, and contractors, to provide customer-focused service while carrying out security-related duties.
