About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Industrial Patrols in Moore, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of visitor and employee movement.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any maintenance or security-related issues found during patrols.
