About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Government Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and routine patrols will help maintain order while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing information and directions as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the location.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support security-related objectives.
