As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts in accordance with client and Allied Universal guidelines.
