About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Government Facility Patrol in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working together with integrity to create a positive experience for everyone onsite.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
  • Maintain a visible presence and observe for any situations that may require a security-related response.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and visitors as required.
  • Complete reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site procedures.
  • Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding site-specific duties and responsibilities.
