About The Position

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Aero Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals to deliver exceptional customer service, and supporting access control. Requirements

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support overall security-related objectives at the location.
