As a Security Professional - Unarmed Aero/Defense Patrols in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you'll monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot, responding to situations as needed, and serving as a point of contact for inquiries. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities observed during patrols.
