As a Security Professional - Tech/Media Patrol Specialist in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech-driven location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your attention to detail will support a culture of integrity and teamwork. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment within the tech and media location.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site supervisors.
