Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout your shift, supporting a secure environment. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or concerns.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and observations.
