About The Position

As a Security Professional - Screening Specialist Full-Time in Laie, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening and access control.
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by addressing questions and giving directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at designated entry points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Document all screening activities and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
