As a Security Professional - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a commercial real estate location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the business and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with property management and/or local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.
