Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for staff and patrons.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and site representatives as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail environment.
• Support Allied Universal and client expectations by documenting incidents, completing reports, and communicating relevant information to appropriate parties.
