As a Security Professional - Retail Center - Full Time in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to delivering excellent customer service will enhance the overall experience for everyone onsite. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report on activities and/or incidents at the location, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required.
- Assist with access control for employees, vendors, and/or visitors as outlined in site-specific guidelines.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or policy violations within the retail environment.
- Support emergency response activities in accordance with client and Allied Universal procedures.
