About The Position

As a Security Professional - Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Elloree, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through strong communication and a professional presence. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols of the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal standards and client requirements.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
• Support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and vendors while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
