About The Position

As a Security Professional - Retail Access Control Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the retail location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or management while maintaining a visible presence at access control points.
