As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols throughout the location, and remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to residents and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points to the residential property, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Assist residents, guests, and visitors by providing customer service and information as needed.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the residential community.
