As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the community to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact regularly with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to address any questions or concerns. Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents, guests, and visitors at the location by following access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to observe and report on security-related matters.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns from residents and visitors in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and instructions from site leadership.
