As a Security Professional - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable and professional presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to use your skills and attention to detail as you conduct routine patrols and maintain visibility throughout the property.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, while being mindful of the unique nature of a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence at the location.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental and operational risks associated with a chemical and petrochemical setting and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
