About The Position

As a Security Professional - Petrochemical Access Control in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help create a welcoming atmosphere while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, suspicious persons, or unusual conditions, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support site security-related objectives in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
