As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to all occupants. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate as required by the client.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required for this position.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information or assistance as needed.
Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and on-site leadership regarding security-related duties and protocols.
