Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, assisting individuals as needed within the government facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Report and document any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal and/or site management.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with Allied Universal and/or local authorities when appropriate.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
