As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in supporting a secure environment at a leading tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with access and information as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
