As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control systems, managing visitor logs, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism and care. You will help to deter unauthorized access and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. In this role, you will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to perform your duties and may interact with alarm panels as part of your daily tasks. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, signing in visitors, and/or issuing visitor badges as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communication with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors entering or leaving the premises.
• Support Allied Universal management in upholding site policies and procedures at the front desk.
