As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and document findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
