Job Description As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Center Patrol - Full Time in Yonkers, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control post in a food and beverage production location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid TSA issued TWIC credential.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment and provide assistance as needed.
