As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, monitoring access, and assisting guests and tenants with inquiries. By maintaining a visible presence and using technology, you help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and guests at the front desk, providing professional customer service and responding to inquiries as needed.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and logging visitor information according to site-specific policies.
Assist with security-related procedures, including checking credentials and issuing visitor badges in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Communicate with property management and/or local authorities as necessary to report incidents or request assistance.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Support security-related operations by observing activity at entry points and helping to deter unauthorized access within the retail or mall environment.
