Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor grounds and key access points, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and document security-related activity using site technology. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle flow, verify credentials and/or delivery information as required by post orders, and maintain visitor and driver logs and required documentation.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, scene control, and timely notification to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Complete routine reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to oncoming shifts and site contacts.
