As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will be a visible presence, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly and professionally. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the logistics and distribution operations at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or violations of site policies to Allied Universal management and/or client contacts.
- Monitor points of entry, loading docks, and other key areas within the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Support access control procedures by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and drivers to provide assistance and information as needed.
- Remain alert to changes in the environment and promptly report any maintenance or security-related concerns.
