About The Position

As a Security Professional - Logistics Access Control in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management.
