As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, both indoors and outdoors, in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and visitors, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity as needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.
Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures as directed.
