About The Position

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies as directed by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and first responders to relay information regarding incidents or emergencies.
